I was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Turtle Island, on November 28, 1976.
The poems in lakes & now wolves were written while living in: Allentown, Pennsylvania; Tsuyama, Okayama (Nippon); Portland, Oregon; and Toledo, Oregon.
I am the editor of Roadrunner, coeditor of MASKS, and the blogeditor of troutswirl for The Haiku Foundation.
I currently reside in Toledo, Oregon.
Greetings Turtle Islander of Portland, Oregon–one fine city I’ve had the pleasure to visit and roam on foot safely even at night and alone.
I was born on the south side of Chicago–windy city.
I am currently residing in Liberty, Missouri–of all places.
I am thinking of departing from said residence to other parts. Portland is one possibile ‘part.’
My birth pre-dates yours by a considerable number of years.
I am enjoying your wordcraft.

I am living in costa rica .. a cultural wasteland
compared to my home country of Canada ..
your words .. your thoughts .. your visions and many others on the Internet .. have saved my mind ..
my soul …
thanks for being out there on line ..
then I stop and think .. it is warm .. quiet
slow .. and easy going here …
and isn’t there always a … but … in life ..
if I could only have it all in one place
ahh such is life
I guess that is why we have that little life
saver called the WWW … world wide web …

don’t misunderstand .. we do love good old costa rica .. it is just a big big difference ..
from the cold of canada to here
the culture the thought process here ..
something to be embraced .. and yet each
day you shake your head and wonder ..
should I be here .. should I just learn
to say .. it is ok … life is different now ..
thank goodness for the Internet .. and all these
wonderful sites filled with words thoughts
that keep me alive soul and mind …
peace
